Compatriot Death - Carl William Deem

We are saddened to report that Compatriot Carl Deem, a member of the Capt. James Neal Chapter, passed away on January 15. Carl joined SAR in May 2007. He was a descendent of the Revolutionary War Patriot Adam Deem. He was born in Parkersburg but he and his wife Marg lived in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. Although he did not live locally, he was proud to have his membership in our chapter to commemorate his Patriot ancestor and to recall his roots in this area.

Carl was a very loyal member of our Chapter, always insuring his dues responsibilities were met and frequently expressing interest in chapter activities.

We express our sympathy to his wife Marg and to his family and friends.
