The SAR is the leading male lineage organization in America. Each member has documented his direct lineage back to a patriot of the American Revolutionary War. If you qualify for membership, I look forward to welcoming you as a Compatriot. Membership in the SAR makes a strong positive statement about your patriotism, it affirms that your genealogical research has been checked against the highest standard of authenticity, and it protects your research against possible loss and makes it available for research by others who share your lineage.
The Capt. James Neal Chapter has very active programs throughout the year. We meet to hear interesting speakers and for fellowship. We conduct historic celebrations and patriotic remembrances. We value our Nation’s history, our patriotic ancestors and those who serve our Country in the cause of freedom. Recognition of modern day patriots, both within the SAR and in the larger community is an important activity of ours. We invite you to join in that work.
