William was born on 13 September 1747 at St. Mary’s Church, Oakley, Bedfordshire, England. William arrived in the colonies, from England, in 1774. His arrival place in the colonies was Maryland, as an indentured servant. His occupation was a carpenter. William married Mary Currier in 1787 and they had 2 children, William L. Hart and James Hart.

William was a private in Captain Ewing, Baltimore Co., Md. Militia Co. #4.

Name of Patriot: Patrick Archer NSSAR Patriot # P-332072

Patrick Archer, was an Irish Catholic and weaver by trade who settled at Fort Jackson, which is presently Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, sometime after 1774. His son, Capt. James Archer was the first to settle there and then convinced his father and family to move there possibly from Maryland. The name of his wife is unknown but his children were: James, Joseph, Michael, Simon, Elizabeth Wells, Polly, Nancy and Jacob.

Robert McCormick was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1738 and died in Augusta County, Virginia, on 12 Oct 1818. He is buried in the cemetery of Old Providence Presbyterian Church, Augusta County, Virginia along with his wife, Martha Sanderson McCormick.
